View Vehicle History

See every event on a vehicle serial, from registration to claims and service notices.

Before you start​

  • Open the vehicle and select the History tab.

Steps​

  1. On the History tab, read the event timeline. Each entry shows the event date and a description.
  2. Use Filter to show a single event type, or All events to show everything.
  3. Use Sort to order events Most recent or Oldest.
  4. For events that reference a claim or case, click the action button to open it: View Claim for a created claim or an affected service notice, and View Case for out-of-service events.
  5. Optionally, use Advanced > Export all to export the history to Excel.

Good to know​

  • Event types include Claim created, Out-of-service declared, Out-of-service resolved, Moved to retailer's inventory, Registered to client, Service notice affected, Owner changed, and Warranty registered.
  • Only claim, service-notice, and out-of-service events have a jump button; inventory, registration, owner-change, and warranty events are informational only.
